Car Claying

Car claying is a very old technique that is used by car detailers to prepare the paint job before waxing, it's also used to remove any contaminants the stubborn sticks to paintwork, overspray, road tar, acid rain etc, 

 

 

Before starting the clay bar the vehicle needs to be prepared properly by washing and drying. Then we use a lubricant to smoother the surface. The clay bar then gets flattened and applied to the paintwork in one area at a time with the lubricant. Once is prepared one area at a time them we wipe it out with a microfiber cloth for a smooth finish. 

 

 

Clay baring does not affect the paintwork or scratches. It must be done by a professional car retailer. 

 

Once is completed the vehicle will need to be waxed or polished.
